Island Friends Roatan

Island Friends is the coordinating point for volunteer efforts on the island of Roatan. It focuses on connecting those who want to help, with those in need. We make it easier for you to know where to put your interest in giving back. Our forums provide information of current events, new ventures, create ideas and put them to action for help needed. Over seventy five non-profits and volunteers are represented. Our data base contains contact information for these people.

The Goal:
The Island Friends goal is to organize, connect and take action on local projects for people in need. We also believe in helping people help themselves.

The Forums:

The roundtable discussions include the latest concerns and ideas, identify what is going on, and speakers to inform us of plans of action. There's time to socialize and connect with old and new friends. We're also helping to avoid duplication of these remarkable efforts, unless it is needed, or appropriate.

Everyone is welcome! We invite you to join us and share in the development of our communities…because we are all neighbors.

Meet with us at Plaza Mar Restaurant (3rd floor) in Coxen Hole, 6:15 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month. Meetings start promptly at 6:30 p.m. and finish at 8:30 p.m. (Food and drinks are available – 10% off the menu price.) If you can’t make one forum, come to the next one.
